Recent Events: Sports Day - 2007Sports Day for Tweens, Youth and the Mature
Thicket Road hosted a sports day 14th July,
where we invited children and young people from various congregations, as
well as surrounding communities to enjoy a day sports, fellowship and
devotion. The day started where the Tweens; all 25; ran after 1 ball. It
was organized chaos. After the children enjoyed their fun, it was time to
get serious. Game 1: Bontehweuwel Vs. Eastridge. Bonteheuwel won. At
which time Bonteheuwel challenged Thicket Road, and Thicket Road won 5 goals
to 3. We ended the day with praise, devotional and prayer.
