Camp Far Away Noordhoek

This year our camp was all about "Braving the storms" as a young teen. We spent time looking at these storms and asked God to make us a storm that is obedient to Him. When Jesus told the winds and waves to be still, they were. (Matthew 8:27) In this world today our young people need the support both physically, emotionally and more important spiritually to brave these storms and to enter adulthood with a peace that will allow them to live healthy lives for the better part.

We also enjoyed JUG classes. (Just Us Guys / Girls). The teens shared the storms in their lives. We prayed and cried together, and came out stronger. The inspiration for the camp came from the theme song: Make me a storm (watershed).
